Dr. Jayden joined the University of Exeter in 2014 as a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Department of Psychology. He then joined the Medical School as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Centre for Research in Ageing and Cognitive Health in 2020, and in 2021 joined the Exeter Clinical Trials Unit. Before moving to Exeter, Jayden was a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Department of Physiology, Development and Neuroscience, University of Cambridge, and completed his PhD in Cognitive Psychology at Queen Mary University of London.
Much of Jayden’s research has focused on using animal models to illuminate the processes that underlie individual differences in cognition, particularly those related to human neurological and pathological disorders. Jayden’s recent work uses both observational and interventional approaches to improve people’s ability to live well with dementia.
